Few resources are as precious as a caring person and their time. We both welcome and depend on volunteers to assist our agency with reaching as many clients as possible.

Also note the ongoing need for bilingual volunteers that speak both English and Spanish.

Emergency Shelter for Women and Children: Volunteers are needed to help provide structured children’s groups and tutoring on Monday-Thursday nights 6:45pm-8:15pm.  Our Child Case Manager is here 2 of those nights to set up and monitor volunteers.  We use interns on Tuesday and Wednesday nights to greet volunteers and line up activities.  Volunteers are assigned a child to tutor or are assigned a small group of children to do an activity with on these nights. This is the only program we do not use volunteers under 18-years-old for confidentiality reasons.
