White Flag Nights:
On nights where the temperature drops below 32 degrees we expand our capacity to accommodate additional single women with children. For more information regarding white flag nights call us at 919 834.6733.
A portion of these services are made possible by our funding partner Wake County SmartStart, an organization that ensures children are prepared for success in school and life.
The Salvation Army of Wake County Women and Children’s Emergency Shelter is a 34-bed facility assisting homeless women with children and those fleeing domestic violence. We are located at 215 South Person Street in Raleigh.
If you are interested in placing your name on the waiting list for shelter, or getting more information, please call us at 919.834.6733 and ask to speak with someone in the Social Ministries Department.
