Your Time is Precious

We tend to speed through our days, rushing to get it all done. “There aren’t enough hours in the day!” we cry. Work, home, family and friends all clamor for our precious time.

But there are others that pine for your time. They silently ask that you spend a little time with them — serving a meal, teaching geometry, holding a baby, listening with love. And when you choose to give of your time in these ways, some amazing things happen: hearts are warmed, hope is restored, lives are changed — theirs and yours.

Now that’s precious.

Please give of your time to one of the many volunteer opportunities at the Salvation Army of Wake County. If you have any questions about any of the opportunities listed here, simply contact our Volunteer Coordinator by email or by phone at 919 834.6733.
