Community Center
The Community Center offers kids educational, recreation and spiritual resources to meet their physical, social, academic and spiritual needs.
Church
The Salvation Army Church is open to everyone, with worship services built upon the love, grace and forgiveness of God.
Center of Hope
The future Center of Hope will allow The Salvation Army to greatly increase outreach services to the needy of Wake County - it will truly be a Foundation for Good.

Monday - Friday: 10am-6pm, Saturday: 9am – 6pm
*Donations accepted Monday - Friday 10am-5:45pm, and Saturdays 10am-5pm.
Good Deeds and Good Deals
The Salvation Army Family Store supports our many outreach programs by turning reusable goods into much needed funding. Proceeds generated by Family Store sales are used to give tangible assistance and offer hope to Wake County residents. Your donation could mean a mother and child are housed, a hungry man is fed, and a family stays warm.
And you can find great deals for yourself and your family by shopping there as well! New and gently used furniture, houseware, clothing, books, jewelry and more are available at a fraction of retail costs. So you’ll not only be getting a good deal – you’ll be doing a good deed!
Please note: We cannot accept the following items:
- Water beds
- Magazines
- Copiers/office machines
- Light fixtures
- Trundle beds
- Toys
- Pool tables
- Vanities with plumbing features (we will take furniture vanities)
- Ping pong tables
- Computer monitors must be flat screen
- Printers older than 5 years
- Encyclopedias
- Kerosene heaters
- Gas grills (we will take charcoal grills)
- Appliances that are not working or rusty (washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator)
- Console TVs or TVs older than 10 years
- Pianos and organs that are not in working order
- Automobile parts – tires, wheels, batteries, seats, engines, etc
- Paint or chemicals
- Infant furniture older than 10 years (slats must be close together)
- Car seats
- Lawnmowers with gas in them
- Mirrors without frames
Donation Pick-Up Service
If you’re clearing out your clutter and don’t have a way to transport the furniture you’d like to donate, no problem! We can pick up your large furniture donation anytime from 9am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, depending on your location.
